Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using AIAnchor ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid plan subscribers.

2. Account responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password or API tokens. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide a valid email address. Accounts created with false information may be terminated. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use AIAnchor to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Store or transmit unlawful, harmful, or infringing content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
• Abuse, spam, or overload the AI Tool Bridge API endpoint
• Attempt to bypass plan limits or rate limits through automated requests
• Scrape or systematically extract content from the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Content ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create in AIAnchor — your project memories, descriptions, and notes. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate the Service on your behalf. We do not use your content to train AI models.

You are responsible for the content you export from AIAnchor and submit to external AI tools. AIAnchor is not responsible for the outputs of Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, Gemini, or any other external AI tool, or for decisions made based on those outputs.

5. Billing and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed monthly. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method.

Plans are offered at three tiers: Free ($0 — 1 project, 50 memories), Builder ($10/month — 5 projects, 500 memories), and Pro ($25/month — unlimited projects and memories, includes AI Tool Bridge). Full details are at aianchor.dev/pricing.

Prices are listed in USD and may change with 30 days notice. Changes to pricing do not affect your current billing period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Your data remains accessible until that date.

6. Cancellation and termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. On cancellation, your subscription ends at the close of the current billing period and you revert to the Free plan limits. You can export your context data before or after cancelling.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts for violations of these terms. In cases of termination for cause, no refund will be issued for unused time.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for losses resulting from outages, data loss, or service interruptions. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AIAnchor and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability in any matter is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
